The City of Sweetwater has announced that City Hall is closed due to increase in COVID cases in our area.
The City of Sweetwater will close city hall, effective immediately, to the public. This is due to the increase in local COVID-19 numbers in the community.
Residents may wish to continue utilizing other means of interacting with the City, such as our website, payment kiosk or by calling us.
Anyone may use the City’s website at www.sweetwatertx.gov to take care of City business, including paying utility bills, court fees and fines, and other items.
For utility payments, residents may continue to utilize the City’s payment kiosk, located on the east side of City Hall. The kiosk accepts checks, cash and credit/debit cards. You may also call 325-219-0136 to pay over the phone.
Court fees and fines may be paid on our website at www.sweetwatertx.gov, or by calling 325-236-6313. In person Court appearance will be postponed until further notice.
Residents may come to City Hall or utilize the website to apply for permits that the City requires, such as fence permits. Please call our Planning and Development Services Department at 325-236-6313, extension 1, for assistance with this process...
