The House managers have stated their case regarding the conviction of former President Donald Trump.
Trump's defense team will have their chance too argue against conviction of their client for up to 16 hours over two days. The Senate will then question the two legal teams and then decide whether to subpoena witnesses and any pertinent documents.
The Senate will then take a vote. A majority will be required in order to carry forward with any of the subpoenas.
There could be up to four hours of closing arguments and an unspecified amount of time for senators to deliberate. Then a vote on the article of impeachment as is spelled out in the Constitution.
