President Donald Trump has fired Christopher Krebs, the Director of Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security (CISA) in the Department of Homeland Security.
Trump fired the widely respected Krebs via tweet.
The firing comes after Krebs released a statement, stating that the 2020 Election was "the most secure" in the nation's history. Over the last two weeks, Trump has blatantly refused to accept the results of the election.
Krebs' reaction to the firing was to tweet: "Honored to serve. We did it right. Defend Today, Secure Tomorrow."
