All four high schools in Nolan County will be in the same class and division for the next two years when the University Interscholastic League announces its biennial realignment in early February.

The 2022-24 enrollment cutoff numbers used by the UIL to split the six classes (1A through 6A) for football only revealed that Sweetwater (587.5 students) will stay in Class 4A, Division II; Roscoe (157 students) will remain in Class 2A, Division II; Highland (73 students) will stay in Class 1A, Division I; and Blackwell (51 students) will stay in Class 1A, Division II.

The actual districts for football and basketball in all six classes will be announced by the UIL on Feb.3.
